Amaral Cunha


Amaral graduated from the University of Pernambuco and received an MA in education from Framingham University (USA). Amaral has more than 25 years of experience in education, teaching English, Biology, Anatomy, and the IB Theory Of Knowledge course. For 14 years, he worked at Graded, The American School in São Paulo (Brazil), and was the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme Co-ordinator in his last 3 years at the school. Today, he embraces the challenge of leading Eleva School towards its mission by sharing a wealth of professional knowledge and extensive education experience.

Maíra Peixoto Timbó

Maíra is a founding member of Escolas Eleva Botafogo and Barra. Prior to her current appointment, she was serving as head of Education for Inspired Brazil. Maíra has been in education for more than 25 years. She has extensive expertise in K-12 education. Maíra holds a BA in Language and Literature, an MA in Language Studies, and an MBA in School Management. She will work hand in hand with Inspired Education to implement the best education practices recognized worldwide, and provide leadership, management and supervision to foster learning and to secure a safe and collaborative school culture for all.

Isabella Sá


Upon graduating from Psychology in Brazil, Isabella specialised in Child Development at The Tavistock and Portman National Health Service (NHS) Trust in London (UK). She completed an MA in Guidance and Educational Counselling at Long Island University in New York (USA). 
As a Psychopedagogist with a background in School Management, Isabella believes in lifelong learning, which involves the continuous training of educators. At present, she is deepening her studies in Neuroscience while learning new methodologies as part of Project Zero, delivered by the Harvard School of Education (USA).

Rafaella Perrone


Rafaella is a Teacher and Pedagogue who graduated from Pontifícia Universidade Católica of Rio Grande do Sul. Rafa's areas of specialism include school supervision, teacher training, and Cultural Studies. She has extensive experience in School Management and has co-ordinated innovative projects related to teacher development and student protagonism, having led one of the largest and most recognised schools in the south of Brazil.

Marcio Cohen


Marcio is an Engineering graduate, but a passionate educator by profession. He holds degrees from IME (India), IMPA (Brazil) and MIT (US) and has received a multitude of awards in national and international Mathematics competitions. Previously, Marcio was a Mathematics teacher and was appointed School Director of an educational institution in Brazil. Additionally, he has worked as a Strategy Consultant at McKinsey in the United States. Currently, as Regional CEO at Inspired, Marcio leads the Headmasters of the Group's schools in the Americas. As co-founder of Escola Eleva, Marcio is responsible for the pedagogical design employed at the school, ensuring the materialisation and effective integration of Eleva's academic pillars.

Duda Falcão


Duda is co-founder of Escolas Eleva and currently serves as an advisory board member. She contributes to major decision-making processes and collaborates with other board members during crucial moments.
